Song Lyrics – I’m with the band, Fjord Collins

Writing song lyrics for a collaboration with a national touring band, and their amazing father Hans, was the thrill of a lifetime. Have written lyrics for 8 songs, five of which were then worked on by the full band, Fjord Collins now has 5 songs produced for an eventual/hoped for EP release. Working with amazingly talented musicians, who turned strange little poems into great songs — the full band has the writing credits — and learning from them about how to actually build music in the studio was incredible — I learned so much about how much I didn’t know. Two documentaries that aired nationally on PBS affiliates where the scriptwriting and production created an indelible image, and a lasting impression. Creative expression can take many forms, and knowing how and when to zig when others zag is a strength of ours.
